My favourite 3 shows at LFWM's Men's fashion week was both amazing and tiring at the same time. I loved pretty much every show I got the chance of attending but I think that was because I felt so privileged to be there! The best part was representing the Man About Town team and attending the shows along side David Bradshaw, Editor in Chief and Harris Elliott, MAT Senior Fashion Editor. It was like being a VIP Oh.. and the fact that we got chauffeured around in our very own 'Man About Town' Mercedes G Wagon. While I was inspired by every show and collection, there were 3 that really stood out to me... JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN John Lawrence Sullivan was officially my first ever Fashion Week show - And I only got to go thanks to meeting Karlmond Tang (Creative Director & Writer) the night before at RIOT. The morning of the show he sent me his front row ticket as he was no longer able to attend! While I loved the collection filled with green velvet and checks, I think the thrill and excitement of going to my first show made me love it even more! BEN SHERMAN X HOUSE OF HOLLAND Ben Sherman's AW18 probably tops them all! When the first guy walked onto the runway I was questioning his choice of models.. they didn't look like that standard long slim build.. That's until the music began and they all started dancing, northern soul! The atmosphere in the room was great, we all couldn't help but tap our feet and clap our hands along. The models weaved their way in between the dancers, the whole show was amazing, I just didn't want it to end! LABRUM As Harris was styling the Labrum presentation I went along to assist. It was great to see the makings of the show and help with all the preparation on the other side of the curtain. This was my first time behind the scenes, I learnt a so much about the production, casting and styling, and then it was so great watching as it all came together in the final presentation.
