SHOOTING IN PARIS

Johnny Hallyday I spent the beginning of the week calling in looks from agencies such as Karla Otto, TCS and Purple and attending show room appointments to view SS18 collections ready for the MAT shoot planned on Wednesday. The shoot was focused on being a staple skinny jeans, leather jacket fashion story with a tribute to Johnny Hallyday, the french rockstar who died last year. I was lucky enough head to Paris for the day and assist David on styling the story that was being shot by Nathaniel Goldberg. While I was so excited that my first time assisting on a shoot was going to be in Paris I was still very aware that my Eurostar train was leaving London at 5.40am and I had to try and get at least some sleep. The shoot started in a Parisian club, smoke machines and laser lights galore - and a few cool electric guitars then headed onto the gorgeous traditional back streets of Paris where a light blue vintage Cadillac awaited. The stud and hassled leathers stood out against the cobbled narrow streets and independent coffee shops - All the shots looked great, I can't wait to see them in print in April. For now I'm just yearning for a long weekend to explore Paris properly. Here's a mini snapshot vlog of my day : https://vimeo.com/253154500
