This week, alongside working on the web page for PXL LDN I headed to Hunter Collective to assist on the Minds Store event being ran by kasia, a hairstylist who uses HC as a space for freelance work.
I thought assisting on the event would be a great way to see how the HC space works first hand and inform me of how we can utilise the collaboration for PXL LDN.
The first thing the Minds Store event taught me was how you NEED a clear understanding of what your event is and what you want to achieve. This way promoting the event becomes second nature, if you know what you want the outcome to be, getting your target audience to visualise it becomes easy.
The second is definitely : PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE! if you're not shouting about what you're doing then who's going to know about it? It's really simple but also really important. For PXL LDN we've got to make sure that banners and flyers are out asap and we can confidently explain our story and what PXL LDN means as a whole. this way we can generate the most interest possible and a buzz around the platform and launch event.
the mindS Store event was also a great opportunity to meet and network with other clients of HC such as Metta, the founder of Nails by Mets. I loved all her nail designs and we spoke about future opportunities assisting her with events!
